Everything you need to plug SeoRound into your AI agent and understand what each skill does. SeoRound is invite-only for now: join the waitlist to try it.
Connect your AI agent
SeoRound plugs into the agent you already use, Claude or any other MCP client. Your agent can then read your data (rankings, Search Console, audits, AI visibility) and run research for you.
https://app.seoround.com/mcpIn claude.ai or the Claude app
- Open Settings, then Connectors.
- Choose “Add custom connector”, name it SeoRound and paste the server address.
- Click Connect. The SeoRound sign-in page opens: sign in, then approve access.
- In a new chat, ask for example “Use SeoRound to list my projects”.
In Claude Code
Add the server with this command, then type /mcp in Claude Code to sign in.
claude mcp add --transport http seoround https://app.seoround.com/mcpOther agents
Any client that supports a remote MCP server with OAuth sign-in works: give it the server address, then sign in when it asks.
Skills
Skills are ready-made methods for your agent. The setup prompt in the app (Agent setup) installs them. Run one by typing its name, for example /seo-audit, to get a full report instead of a quick answer.
/seo-coachReviews where you stand and picks the next step. It explains the methods and helps you get the most from your agent, web search and SeoRound data.
/seo-project-setupSaves the project context shared with all your agents: site scope, goals, positioning, competitors, key pages and preferences. It also checks the connection and pulls in Search Console.
/seo-auditAudits the site, looks for its real search opportunities and delivers a short, data-backed report on the few changes most likely to bring visits that turn into customers.
/ai-visibility-auditLooks at how your brand shows up in AI answers about your market, then suggests the changes most likely to get you cited: a third-party page to get onto, a page to improve or an access problem to fix.
/ai-prompt-researchFinds the questions people ask AI about your market, how ChatGPT answers them and which sites it cites. Research only: nothing is saved or tracked.
/keyword-researchFinds promising keywords, checks their metrics and Google results, then saves and tags the best ones.
/keyword-clusteringGroups keywords by search intent and maps them to existing or new pages.
/competitive-landscapeShows who leads your market, which content themes work, keyword coverage, backlinks and the gaps to fill.
/competitor-analysisStudies one competitor: its Google footprint, keywords, content themes, backlinks and what it leaves out.
/link-prospectingFinds sites to get links from and how to reach them, then drafts the outreach, based on Google results and backlinks.
/local-seoAudits a Google Business Profile, compares it with nearby competitors and measures Maps visibility around an address.
/seo-reportSaves another skill's work as a report, a full page you find in SeoRound's Reports page.
Connect Search Console
SeoRound reads your clicks, impressions and positions straight from Google Search Console. Open the project settings, choose Search Console, connect your Google account and select your site's property.
The Google account you choose must have access to the property in Search Console, as owner or user. If your site is not listed, check in Search Console which account has access, then connect that one.
A domain property (the whole site, with or without www) and a URL-prefix property (one exact address) are two different properties: pick the one that covers the pages you want to track.
Rank tracking: what changed
Since September, Google returns incomplete results to every rank tracking tool. SeoRound now re-runs some checks to complete the results.
If a ranking looks odd, compare it over several checks before drawing conclusions: one measurement is not enough to call it a drop.
